Beaver Construction Site
2026
Beaver Construction Site is a contemporary public art installation that transforms Neatkarības Square into a symbolic construction zone, referencing the ongoing developments in the ARSENĀLS area and the nearby Riga City Canal, which is home to beavers. The artwork reflects on the city as a shared space where humans, animals, and nature coexist. At the centre of the installation is a sculptural, beaver-inspired construction site made from organic materials and complemented by elements of the urban environment.
